Role Description
This is an on-call, service-based Nail Technician position at Spa Réveil in Austin, TX. Team members are scheduled based on booked appointments, meaning you are only required to be onsite when you have scheduled services.
The Nail Technician is responsible for delivering high-quality manicures, pedicures, and nail art services while maintaining Spa Réveil’s standards of excellence, cleanliness, and hospitality. This role emphasizes technical skill, professionalism, and creating an elevated guest experience from start to finish.
Essential Responsibilities & Functions
- Provide exceptional manicure and pedicure services that exceed guest expectations
- Perform all services in compliance with Texas State Cosmetology/Nail Services regulations
- Greet guests professionally and deliver a warm, luxury spa experience
- Review guest consultation forms and customize services based on individual needs and preferences
- Input and accurately document guest consultation forms into Meevo after each service
- Arrive 20 minutes prior to each scheduled appointment to prepare and set up treatment area
- Maintain strict sanitation, hygiene, and safety standards at all times
- Ensure guest comfort throughout services (temperature, pressure, and experience check-ins)
- Provide hospitality touches such as beverages and reading materials during pedicures
- Recommend retail products for at-home care and encourage rebooking while guests are onsite
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstation before, during, and after services
- Support spa operations with laundry, cleaning, and general maintenance when onsite
- Assist Spa Team as needed per leadership direction
- Maintain a polished, professional appearance and positive demeanor at all times
- Report guest concerns or issues promptly to Spa Director or Lead Nail Technician
- Meet established service expectations and performance standards
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Cosmetology/Nail Technician license (required)
- Skilled in manicures, pedicures, and nail treatments
- Commitment to high-end guest service and satisfaction
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain a calm, clean, and luxury spa environment
- Strong attention to detail and sanitation standards
- Previous spa or salon experience is a plus
