Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Lifeguard to ensure the safety and well-being of all guests at our aquatic facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong swimming skills, a commitment to maintaining a safe environment, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations. This role is crucial in providing excellent guest services while overseeing pool activities and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Duties
- Monitor pool activities to prevent accidents and ensure guest safety.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment for all patrons.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, providing first aid and CPR as necessary.
- Conduct regular inspections of the pool area, ensuring cleanliness and proper maintenance.
- Perform pool maintenance tasks including cleaning, chemical testing, and equipment checks.
- Assist guests with questions or concerns, providing exceptional guest services.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, accidents, and maintenance activities.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay current on lifeguarding techniques and safety protocols.
Experience
- Certification in Lifeguarding, CPR, and First Aid is required.
- Previous experience in lifeguarding or related roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform rescues if necessary.
- Familiarity with pool maintenance procedures is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment as needed for pool cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services.
