Job Description
As a Lead Technician/Crew Chief, you will be responsible for assigning, coordinating and performing work activities on restoration projects to successfully fulfill service needs. Follow work order and effectively communicate with Claims Managers. Perform initial inspections and final walkthroughs. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, efficient, and able to work in a physically demanding environment.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate positive customer experience and ensure customer satisfaction of services.
- Communicate clear expectations to Restoration Technicians and supervise their activities.
- Coordinate and perform restoration processes as scheduled and ensure quality control.
- Properly documenting scope of work by using Docusketch.
- Effectively daily communicate with Claims Managers’ scope of work, customer complaints and/or concerns.
- Review workorder to ensure job is done effectively and correctly.
- Properly document all required paperwork.
- Ensure scope sheets, pictures, and supporting documents are submitted for entry into Egnyte.
- Identify safety hazards, communicate, and establish control measures to ensure the safety of occupants and workers.
- Follow and oversee safe work practices and adherence to safety and risk management guidelines.
- Document a detailed and accurate job file to support the services provided.
- Perform initial inspections and final walkthroughs.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in restoration, mitigation
- Regularly lifting 50 pounds independently, occasionally lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance, walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing ladders, working at ceiling heights, working in tight spaces (i.e. crawl spaces, attics), repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects, working with and around chemicals, and working overhead.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions such as heat, noxious odors, etc. The noise level in the work environment and job sites may be loud. The employee will be required to occasionally wear a respirator for their safety.
- Valid driver license- approved by our insurance company- required
- Prior restoration experience is required.
- Docusketch experience is preferred.
- Full- Time, up to 40 hours per week.
