SP Floors & Design Center has been helping homeowners, designers, and builders create beautiful spaces for over 15 years. From hardwood and luxury vinyl to tile, carpet, and custom design services, we pride ourselves on quality products, expert guidance, and exceptional customer service. We're looking for someone who wants to help tell those stories through engaging social media content. This is a great opportunity for a student or recent graduate who wants hands-on experience creating content, managing social media, and learning how marketing supports a growing local business.
What You'll Do
- Create photo and video content for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
- Film and edit short-form videos featuring our showroom, products, projects, and team
- Write captions and help schedule social media posts
- Keep up with social media trends and share new content ideas
- Assist with content planning and monthly social calendars
- Photograph completed flooring and design projects when needed
- Engage with our online community by responding to comments and messages
- Help with email marketing, promotions, and other marketing projects as needed
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
- Comfortable creating, filming, and editing short-form video content
- Strong writing and communication skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, or similar creative tools
- Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple projects at once
- Willing to learn, take initiative, and contribute new ideas
- Interest in interior design, home improvement, or lifestyle content is a plus
- Photography or basic graphic design experience is a bonus, but not required
