As an AVP Driver, you'll use your own qualifying vehicle (2017 OR NEWER) to deliver FedEx packages throughout the assigned service area. Delivery volume and schedules may vary based on daily business needs.
What You'll Do
- Deliver packages safely and efficiently on your assigned route.
- Load and organize packages for maximum efficiency.
- Use a handheld scanner to manage deliveries and pickups.
- Follow all FedEx safety and delivery procedures.
- Maintain accurate delivery records.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service.
- Meet daily delivery goals while maintaining safe driving habits.
- Work independently while communicating with dispatch when needed.
What We're Looking For
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be at least 21 years old.
- Have a valid driver's license.
- Own a reliable vehicle (2017 model year or newer).
- Be able to repeatedly enter and exit your vehicle throughout the day.
- Lift and carry packages weighing up to 100 pounds when necessary.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
- Have a clean driving record.
- Be dependable, self-motivated, and punctual.
