Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the rehabilitation department, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and medical standards.
- Manage staff performance, providing guidance and support to COTAs and PTAs.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation using EHR systems.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to enhance patient care and optimize rehabilitation practices.
- Implement practice management strategies to improve service delivery and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in a rehabilitation setting, specifically with COTA and PTA staff.
- Strong knowledge of medical administrative support, including EHR systems and HIPAA compliance.
- Familiarity with budgeting and fiscal management within a healthcare environment.
- Experience with medical terminology and managing medical records.
- Background in supervising and managing a medical office or clinic is preferred.
