Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper / Office Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of our financial record-keeping while managing daily office operations. Your expertise will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and smooth administrative workflows. Responsibilities

  • Manage full cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries using accounting software, QuickBooks,
  • Perform general ledger accounting and balance sheet reconciliation to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
  • Prepare financial reports, statements, and analysis to support organizational decision-making
  • Oversee payroll processing and related tax filings in accordance with federal and state regulations
  • Conduct account reconciliation and review of debits & credits to maintain precise financial records
  • Handle administrative duties including managing office supplies, correspondence, scheduling, and supporting staff needs
  • Ensure compliance with governmental accounting standards for non-profit or corporate entities as applicable
  • Assist in budgeting processes and provide insights for financial planning and analysis
  • Maintain meticulous records of journal entries, account analysis, and general ledger reconciliation to uphold data integrity

Skills

  • Extensive experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks willingness to adopt AI-driven workflows
  • Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles
  • Knowledge of GAAP standards and technical accounting concepts
  • Proficiency in bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and general ledger accounting
  • Ability to prepare detailed financial reports and perform account analysis with accuracy
  • Familiarity with governmental accounting requirements if applicable to the organization’s sector
  • Skilled in payroll processing, tax experience, accounts payable/receivable management, and budget development
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
  • Competency in 10 key typing for data entry accuracy and speed
