Summary Of Position
The Quality Assurance Specialist will lead the bank’s efforts to mitigate risk related to consumer and commercial lending functions. They will follow QA processes as directed by the Quality Assurance Manager.

The Quality Assurance Specialist will lead the bank’s efforts to mitigate risk related to consumer and commercial lending functions. They will follow QA processes as directed by the Quality Assurance Manager.
Key job functions: (Includes current duties, primary objectives, and responsibilities which are critical to the successful performance of the position)
- Ensure loans continually meet quality, compliance, and service standards.
- Work with quality assurance team to drive system and process improvements.
- Follow the exception tracking process in accordance with loan agreements, covenants, approved requests, credit policy, and bank procedures, exception resolution, and reporting.
- Execute loan sampling methodology to perform credit and regulatory reviews and report results.
- Coordinate activities to ensure HMDA and CRA data integrity, and Fair Lending, Truth in Lending, TRID, flood, and other federal and state regulatory compliance.
- Process lien filings and releases for new and paid-off loans across multiple product lines, including mortgage, commercial, consumer, and vehicle loans.
- Solid understanding of financial institution products and services
- Experience with Bank software, Microsoft Excel and data analysis
- Extensive experience with loan documentation, lien perfection, collateral perfection, credit monitoring, document tracking and management, lending related regulatory requirements, and management reporting
- Experience with item exception tracking and document imaging systems
- Bachelor’s degree in business, law, or finance
- Banking experience preferred
- Hearing, speech, close vision
- Sitting, including computer use
- Driving with own transportation to other branches for meetings/workshops
- On occasions, may be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Job responsibilities may include standing, walking, lifting, kneeling, and crouching
