Sovah Health Security Department is team player whose primary mission is the safety and security for the Sovah-Health Hospital. Position will have every other weekend off.

How you̢۪ll contribute

A Security Officer II who excels in this role:

·Performs proactive monitoring of and timely responses to potential/actual security threats.

·Investigates and manages all security incidents and hazards on the premises.

·Maintains knowledge of and follows policies and procedures regarding alarms and emergency/disaster preparedness plans.

·Assists in facilitating planned drills and simulations.

·Conducts designated safety/security rounds.

·Provides information and assistance to staff and visitors to promote their safety on the premises.

Qualifications:

What we̢۪re looking for

The right candidate will recognize, manage, and rehabilitate injuries to student athletes under the direction of the team physician or by written referral from a physician, and in accordance with state athletic training practice act. Provides techniques for prevention of injuries and instructs/trains on safe exercise techniques.

Applicants have a Hight School Diploma or equivalent. Additional requirements include:

American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider (BLS) required within 60 days from date of hire

Must complete a Behavioral Management Training program within 90 days from date of hire.

Valid drivers license with good driving record

Prior experience in Security, Safety, Police Work, or healthcare is desirable.
