How you’ll contribute
Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and levels.
Ensures all attended and home sleep studies are staffed, performed and managed efficiently and effectively. Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff; assists with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
Assesses and ensures quality of services delivered and facilitates staff development programs, continuing education, and technician meetings. Performs equipment maintenance monthly checks (CPAP, ETC02 and oxygen calibrations).
Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
Remains on call for all technologists, assistance with technology, equipment troubleshooting, and other urgent needs.
Manages the work of others, including planning, assigning, scheduling and reviewing work, ensures quality standards. Responsible for hiring, terminating, training and developing, reviewing performance and administering corrective action for staff.

What we’re looking for
Applicants should be a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)
Additional requirements include:
Associate's degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Applicable work experience may be used in lieu of education
Successful completion of a PSG educational program leading.
BLS Certification
Licensed with the VA Board of Medicine in Polysomnography
