This is a full-time, on-site role for a Human Resources Director located in the Columbus, Ohio Metropolitan Area. The Human Resources Director will oversee all HR functions, including the development and implementation of HR policies, management of employee relations, compliance with labor laws, and performance management processes. The position involves collaborating with leadership to align HR strategies with business goals, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring the organization complies with relevant labor and employment laws.
- Strong expertise in Human Resources (HR) and HR Policies, with experience in developing and implementing organizational strategies
- Proficiency in managing Employee Relations, fostering a positive workplace culture, and resolving workplace conflicts
- In-depth knowledge of Performance Management processes, including setting goals, evaluating employee performance, and identifying areas for development
- Comprehensive understanding of Labor and Employment Law to ensure organizational compliance
- Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; advanced degree or HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are a plus
- Experience in a multi-industry organization or working with small to midsize businesses preferred
