In this role, you will provide exceptional on-site assistance, ensuring that our IT infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently. You’ll engage with our staff directly, resolving issues and enhancing their experience with technology. Your expertise in computer management, networking, and troubleshooting will be key in maintaining high standards of service.
What you’ll do
- Deliver top-notch technical support to end-users, ensuring their IT systems are fully operational.
- Manage and troubleshoot computer hardware and software issues across various operating systems including Windows and macOS.
- Implement and maintain firewall configurations to secure network access.
- Provide desktop support and assist with computer networking tasks to optimize performance.
- Install, configure and maintain over 100 wireless and security camera networks.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and deliver solutions promptly.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on IT equipment to prevent downtime and enhance reliability.
- Collaborate with team members to improve IT processes and share knowledge for continuous improvement.
Basic qualifications
- Strong understanding of computer hardware, software troubleshooting, and IT infrastructure management.
- Proficiency in wired and wireless networking.
- Excellent communication skills for effective customer interaction and problem resolution.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in computer networking environments.
- Familiarity with remote support technologies and practices.
- Previous experience in a technical support or field service role is a plus.
