Role Description The Pest Control Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Anaheim, CA and serving the broader Southern California region. This is a route that will be taken over since our current tech of 10 years is moving out of state. This is an established and very stable route with some room to grow. In this role, the technician conducts inspections of residential and commercial properties, identify pests, and recommends appropriate treatment plans. Day-to-day tasks include applying pest control products safely, performing integrated pest management procedures, completing escrow-related termite inspections, and documenting services in a clear and accurate manner. The technician interacts directly with customers to explain findings, treatment methods, and preventive measures, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and courtesy. Responsibilities also include operating company vehicles, adhering to safety and regulatory standards, and collaborating with team members to ensure quality service.
Qualifications
- Must be Branch II FR Licensed. Branch III is a plus!
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in Pest Control and Integrated Pest Management, with the ability to identify and treat a variety of pest issues.
- Ability to use and interpret PEST (pest-related tools, equipment, and techniques) in the field, following safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with customers, explaining treatment plans, and working with team members.
- Basic understanding of Lawn Care as it relates to pest prevention and outdoor treatments.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant pest control certifications or licenses in California are preferred.
- Comfort working in varied environments (indoors, outdoors, confined spaces) and lifting or carrying equipment as needed.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to travel throughout Southern California for service calls.
- Commitment to customer service, attention to detail, and adherence to safety, environmental, and company policies.
