What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nursing Assistant position at Southwestern PA Eye Surgery Center?
Southwestern Pennsylvania Eye Surgery Center is looking for a part-time Surgery Center Nursing Assistant. We are a busy-privately owned ambulatory surgery center that specializes in ocular procedures, such as cataracts, retinal and glaucoma. This part-time position is excellent for anyone looking to get back into the working force but still require some flexibility in their schedule. No prior medical experience is required. We currently preform procedures on every Tuesday and Thursday as well as two Wednesday’s per month. You would be expected to work a full day on the surgery days. Job duties are overviewed below but not limited to:
Transport patients to vehicle after surgery
Sanitize and make beds for next procedure
Retrieve snacks for patients after surgery
Unpack deliveries and re-stock for following days
Light cleaning and dusting
Working closely with the nursing staff
