ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Updates employee information and prepares reports as needed including licenses and/or certifications
- Enters new hire information, making sure information is accurate
- Copies new hire packets and processes for background checks and drug screens
- Logs, tracks and processes bonuses and reimbursements
- Tracks timeliness and annual performance evaluations
- Completes all employment and verification request in a timely manner
- Creates and maintains employee files, as well as all registry/contract staff submitted
- Presents HR portion in new employee orientation and conducts appropriate educations and in-service sessions as assigned
- Screens calls and visitors; assists whenever possible or makes appropriate referral
- Prepares employees badges, reissues badges as needed
- Maintains spreadsheets to track Human Resource activity for employee turnover
- Processes all resumes and/or applications received to appropriate hiring manager
- Maintains job posting in Taleo system in accordance with approved staff requisition forms submitted
- Assists in the coordination of the employee benefit programs administered through Corporate
- Assist with Workers Compensation claims
- Assists with other departmental projects as assigned; assists with all employee functions and activities
- Enters Directors timesheets in Kronos
- Prepares employee birthday cards monthly
- Corrects employees time entry in Kronos when punches are missed
- Assists in correctly payroll issues with Parallon
- Schedules interviews with applicants for the Directors; schedules exit interviews
- Maintains daily operations in the absences of the HRD
Qualifications
Minimum Education
- High school diploma or equivalent Required
Experience
- Two years experience in two or more functional areas of Human Resources to include employment
- Demonstrates knowledge of federal and state laws as they apply to Human Resources management
Required Skills
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
