ANNOUNCEMENT: Southwestern Illinois College is accepting applications for the full-time administrative position of Reporting and Compliance Analyst.
POSITION DESCRIPTION: In accordance with the Mission and Values of Southwestern Illinois College, this position is responsible for the collection, storage, analysis, retrieval and organization of data pertaining to: institutional effectiveness; institutional, economic and community development; and the grant development process. The Reporting and Compliance Analyst is a technical and professional position where assignments are broad in nature requiring independent initiative, critical analysis, creative approaches and data visualization skills for contributing to the development of information solutions. This position will prepare statistical and analytical reports, design research studies, develop innovative methods for conveying information, and disseminate official results to appropriate audiences. This will include acquiring fluency in adopted technologies to support business needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor’s degree in related field is required; Masters preferred.
2. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in higher education reporting or in a related field required.
3. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in data management/data extraction techniques, quantitative statistical analysis, survey or marketing research methodology, and/or PC-based software for data analysis is required.
4. Demonstrated experience in Excel, SQL, and/or PeopleSoft Query is required
5. Must successfully pass a criminal background check prior to hire.
SALARY: Salary Grade 3 on the Administrative Pay Scale, ranging from $52,150 to $65,200 per year.
