ANNOUNCEMENT: Southwestern Illinois College is accepting applications for the part-time SWIC Educational Employee position of Accounts Receivable/Clerk Assistant.
POSITION DESCRIPTION: In accordance with the Mission and Values of Southwestern Illinois College, this work involves responsibility for recording financial data (primarily cashiering) in an assigned area of a larger accounting system, as well as general clerical duties and customer service. This work requires contact with students and other departments. Work is performed independently with minimum supervision, according to established policies, rules and regulations. Administrators are available for technical or procedural problems. Work is reviewed for adherence to established procedures and checked through internal and external audits.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High School diploma or GED certificate required.
2. Two (2) years of related work experience in accounts receivable, cashiering, etc. required.
3. Customer service experience is preferred.
4. Familiarity with Microsoft preferred.
SALARY: $15.30 per hour, up to 28 hours per week
