Psychiatric CRNP Job Description:
To provide clinic based therapeutic mental health services and interventions to children, adolescents, adults, and families.
Psychiatric CRNP Job Responsibilities:
1. Provide outpatient psychiatric evaluation and medication management services.
2. Complete all paperwork required for progress notes & prescribing medications.
3. Ensure clients are receiving all services to achieve their positive mental health.
4. Participate in bi-monthly psychiatric case supervision.
Technical Knowledge:
- Attachment & Trauma Specific training & experience, if available.
- Knowledge of mental health and developmental disorders.
- Knowledge of health insurance and managed care systems.
- Knowledge of various therapeutic techniques across age ranges.
- Basic Computer skills (All programs).

Education/Training:
- Licensed Certified Registered Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Licensed Physician Assistant
- Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health
- DEA Controlled Substance Registration
- Act 33/34 clearances and FBI finger printing
- First Aid/CPR Certification
Experience:
At least 1-2 years providing direct client care to youth/child populations receiving treatment for psychiatric disorders. Experience in adoption and or foster care is a plus. A combination of education and experience may be accepted as approved by the CEO.
