- Conduct technical evaluations to support engineering design
- Support field testing and field inspections/visits when required
- Development and preparation of technical documents including technical memoranda, reports, engineering plans and drawings, specifications, and miscellaneous contract documents
- Permitting and compliance
- Submittal reviews, requests for information, correspondence, change requests, and change orders for construction projects
- Coordinate work with others on projects; ensure proper and timely execution on projects.
- Successfully manage and deliver assignments on time and on budget
- Adhere to QA/QC process
- Work exposure to include subdivision development, grading, drainage, road work, water system design, sewer system design, traffic analysis, flood studies etc.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- BS Degree in Engineering (Civil or Environmental) or related field required
- Candidates should either have a P.E. or be willing to obtain a P.E. in the short term
- Ability to use AutoCAD/Civil 3D
- Ability to use or effectively learn other modeling software
- Good technical skills with the ability to articulate ideas and concepts both visually and contextually essential
- Candidate will have strong verbal/written communication skills and ability to work well independently and in team environments
- Candidate should be versatile and interested in working on a variety of project supporting engineering services
- Candidate should be a self-starter, results-oriented, and be able to work under tight deadlines
- P.E. preferred
