What are the responsibilities and job description for the Evening Adult Literacy Instructor (Part-Time) - Creston position at Southwestern Community College?
Location: Creston, Iowa
Individual will be responsible for preparing and teaching basic skills, English Literacy, and High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED) subject areas (reading, writing, social studies, science, and mathematics) to students enrolled in the SWCC Adult Education and Literacy program. Candidate must evaluate and report adult student progress and level completion according to state and federal guidelines and must have good communication and computer skills. Bachelor’s degree required, in education preferred.
Individual will be scheduled 10-15 hours per week. Pay will begin at $18 per hour.
