What are the responsibilities and job description for the Violence Intervention Case Manager position at SOUTHWEST YOUTH & FAMILY SERVICES?
Description
The Southwest Youth and Family Services (SWYFS) Neighborhood Safety & Healing program is a place-based intervention designed to de-escalate conflict and interrupt cycles of violence within the West Seattle area with a focus on High Point and Delridge neighborhoods. Violence Intervention Case Managers operate from a trauma-informed and culturally responsive framework. They will be deployed to provide immediate crisis stabilization, restorative mediation, and outreach. In addition to immediate crisis response, Violence Intervention Case Managers will provide impacted youth and their families' connections to resources that address the root causes of violence with both one-on-one and group sessions.
