What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cross Guard position at Southwest Vermont Supervisory Union?
The crossing guard is responsible for providing safe supervision to students arriving/leaving school. The position works three (3) hours per day, Monday-Friday: 7:30 am - 8:30 am, 11:30 am - 12:30 pm, and 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm. Responsibilities include:
- Adhere to all appropriate traffic rules and regulations.
- Communicate any duty problems to the building administrator.
- Adhere to all District policies and regulations.
- Perform such other tasks and assume other responsibilities as the supervisor may assign.
