Job Position: TMS Psychiatric Nurse Practioner
Role and Responsibilities:
As a TMS Psychiatric Nurse Practioner at Southwest TMS Center, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting thorough psychiatric evaluations to diagnose patients with treatment-resistant conditions suitable for TMS therapy.
- Developing and implementing individualized TMS treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical best practices.
- Administering TMS therapy sessions and monitoring patients' progress and response to treatment.
- Collaborating with our team of professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Keeping abreast of the latest research and developments in TMS and other psychiatric treatments, integrating new findings into patient care as appropriate.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records for each patient.
- Participating in regular team meetings and case conferences to discuss patient progress and treatment strategies.
- Educating patients and their families about TMS therapy, potential benefits, and expected outcomes.
Qualifications and Requirements:
To qualify for this position, you must possess the following:
- State medical license, in good standing, allowing the practice of Psychiatry and TMS treatments.
- Prior experience in or desire to administer Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy.
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills, with an emphasis on treatment-resistant psychiatric conditions.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and collaborate with the treatment team.
- Commitment to staying updated on advancements in the field of TMS and psychiatry.
- Experience with electronic medical records and other relevant software applications.
