What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trail Ranger - Richlands VA position at Southwest Regional Recreation Authority (SRRA)?
The SRRA and Spearhead Trails are acceptation applications for a full-time trail ranger serving our Tazewell County / Richlands / Jawbone area trail system.
Please note, this person needs to live in the Richlands area or be able to get to this trail system daily.
Job Requirements include:
- 21 years of age minimumValid driver's license
- Must past criminal background check
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work outdoors and in various weather
- Ability to work nights, weekends and some holidays
Job Responsibilities include:
- Responding to incidents on the trails Issuing civil violations for non-compliance
- Clearing trail pathways to ensure safety
- Strong communication with others
