Responsibilities of a Consumer Loan Administrative Assistant
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding loan accounts in a professional and timely manner.
- Manage incoming phone calls, providing exceptional administrative support and directing inquiries to the appropriate team members.
- Prepare and review new loan documentation with a high degree of accuracy to ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal bank policies.
- Process and post loan payments accurately within the core banking system and bank-partnered payment platforms.
- Calculate payoff quotes, process payoff checks, and prepare closed loan documents.
- Audit daily data entry for accuracy and completeness.
- Perform general administrative duties and generate various loan-related documents.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year customer service experience.
- Ability to work one Saturday a month.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- General computer knowledge with proficiency in Microsoft.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
