Accounts Receivable Representative
Southwest Mobile Storage is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Representative based on performance and business needs. This individual will be responsible for managing past-due accounts, securing timely payments, and maintaining professional relationships throughout the collections process.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively contact customers with delinquent accounts to negotiate and establish payment plans.
- Prioritize accounts to ensure effective follow-up and resolution within target timelines.
- Professionally manage escalated collection situations and resolve them constructively.
- Perform light skip tracing to help locate clients with outdated or missing contact information.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all communications, agreements, and outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve payment issues efficiently.
- Meet departmental collection targets while upholding company policies and standards.
Qualifications
- 2-year prior experience in collections, customer service, or a related field preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism under pressure.
- Familiarity with skip tracing techniques is a plus.
- Proficiency in record-keeping and documentation.
