What are the responsibilities and job description for the Loan Processor - Carthage, MO position at Southwest Missouri Bank?
HOURS NEEDED: Full-time, 40 hours per week. Must be available between 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Monday - Friday. Saturday rotation - 8:30 a.m. - Noon
JOB SUMMARY:
Provide excellent customer service in accordance with bank standards while working closely with customers, lenders, title and insurance companies and other related organizations. Support lenders in the processing, documentation and compliance of consumer and commercial loans. Present a neat, clean and professional appearance at all times. Recognize opportunities to cross sell bank products and services as appropriate.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Handle customer needs and inquiries by providing accurate, efficient and confidential customer service.
- Administrative support to the lenders in the setup and servicing of loans.
- Support lenders with the loan processing, documentation and compliance in accordance with bank policy and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in available training to strengthen job knowledge.
- Demonstrate dependability and flexibility in performing duties.
- Fulfill business goals through participation in bank and community activities.
SKILL REQUIRMENTS:
- Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
- Professional and strong oral and written communication skills
- Detail oriented and ability to multi-task are essential
- Strong computer skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position is largely sedentary; however it does require some degree of bending, standing, walking and twisting. The use of standard office equipment (computer, phone, copier, etc.) and ability to read and enter information onto a computer screen, and to assist customers over the phone is also required.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior loan processing experience preferred, but not required.
