Position: Associate Degree Nursing Instructor
Job Description: full-time nursing instructor in a state and Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing accredited Associated Associate Degree Nursing program. The position affords an opportunity for team teaching with supportive and innovative faculty. This position reports to the Associate Vice President for Nursing.
Duties and Responsibilities: Include but are not limited to:
Qualifications: A Master's degree with a major in nursing is preferred. A Bachelor's degree in nursing with concurrent enrollment in an accredited MSN program is required.
Experience: Applicants must have a minimum of one-year clinical experience and be eligible to practice as a registered nurse in Mississippi. Teaching experience at the Associate Degree level is preferred, but not required.

- Develop, implement, and evaluate student clinical, classroom, skills lab, and simulation learning activities
- Provide direct supervision and evaluation of students as they perform in lab or deliver patient care in clinical facilities as scheduled
- Act as a liaison between clinical facility staff and students
- Employ appropriate teaching and learning strategies to communicate subject matter to students
- Serve as a faculty advisor within current college advisement system and assist in recruitment of students
- Incorporate core competencies into program and academic discipline content
- Contribute to program and division curriculum development processes
