Job Description
The Assistant Women's Soccer Coach will be involved in all aspects of the
SMSU Soccer Program. The position will be involved in all coaching-related responsibilities, including recruiting, practice, scheduling, trip organization, fundraising, alumni relations, camps, and all other facets of the program. Other job duties assigned may be in the areas of academic success, camp coordination, fundraising, game management, equipment locker room management, or other assignments that reflect the expertise of the candidate. Position may be assigned teaching duties as part of the position's responsibilities based on the area of study and previous experience.

Salary Range: $49,374 - $81,185
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Collegiate soccer coaching experience or 2 years of high school coaching experience
- Demonstrated commitment or proven strategies for fostering a diverse and inclusive environment; demonstrated ability or proven strategies to teach and work with persons from diverse backgrounds
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- NCAA Collegiate coaching experience
- Experience with and knowledge of NCAA Division II rules and regulations
- Experience with monitoring and supporting the academic success of student-athletes
- Experience coordinating individual and team camps
- Successful NCAA recruiting experience
- Experience working with HUDL and/or Spiideo
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with student-athletes
- Collegiate playing experience
- Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written communications
