We’re seeking a versatile Cook to prepare, serve, and maintain high-quality food in our medical center. This role ensures every meal is safe, appetizing, and served according to established standards, policies, and dietary guidelines.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and serve food according to menus, therapeutic diets, and special requests
- Follow standardized recipes and portion control procedures to ensure timely meal service
- Assist in inventory, food storage, and maintaining availability of supplies
- Perform cleaning and sanitation duties, including prep areas, equipment, utensils, and storage
- Sweep, mop, and maintain clean, safe, and hazard-free kitchen areas
- Operate in multiple roles as needed: dishwasher, tray aide, grill person, hostess, cook, and baker
- Carry out garbage and ensure proper sanitation in accordance with regulations
Qualifications:
- Ability to follow recipes and sanitary procedures
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work in a team environment
- High School diploma preferred but not required
