Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Six months to one year experience with customer relations required.
- Knowledge of basic office procedures/equipment and computer systems required.
- Familiarization with medical terminology and prior health care experience preferred.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred.
Work Hours
We are seeking two full-time (40 hours/week) Patient Scheduling Specialists to work Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm.
Job Summary
The primary responsibilities of the Patient Scheduling Specialist are to arrange for efficient and orderly check in, check out and scheduling of patients across multiple specialties. A patient scheduling specialist (PSS) ensures that accurate patient information is collected and that patients are aware of hospital policies and procedures. These duties will be performed in a “Customer oriented” professional manner.
