Position summary:

The Vascular Sonographer performs vascular ultrasonography in various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, ED, and intraoperative. He/she supports the operation of the Vascular Lab, including answering phones, processing reports, scheduling patients, retrieve medical records. The Vascular Sonographer also participates in the on-call rotation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

High school diploma and graduation from an accredited vascular ultrasound program.

Required length and type of experience:-
Clinical experience from training program.

Required licensure, certification or registry:-
Registered by the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as a Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) OR registered by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) OR registry eligibly with agreement to pass registry within 1 year of employment.
