Under the direction of the Clinical Manager, the Access Rep is responsible for performing Patient Scheduling and Patient Registration duties. To obtain accurate and complete demographic and financial information while serving patients in a courteous, timely and professional manner.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

A high school education including courses in typing, data entry, business mathematics and office procedure or the equivalent.

Required length and type of experience:-
Ability to type 30 wpm, perform work requiring a moderate degree of repetitious manual operations with normal care and accuracy. Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously in stressful situations while interacting with hospital staff, physicians offices, physicians and patients in a professional and pleasant manner. Must follow telephone etiquette guidelines. Maintains a good attendance record. Medical Terminology. Healthcare experience preferred.
