Description
Seeking a Bilingual Unarmed Security Guard to provide general security for a galvanizing plant on nights and weekends.
Requirements
Essential Responsibilities:
- Check in/out all vehicles entering and leaving the plant
- Patrol the plant scanning all checkpoints as required
- Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, and take appropriate action to resolve situations while adhering to company protocols
- Monitor production equipment and top of chemical tanks after shift working hours and on weekends
- Minor maintenance duties
- Monitor employees coming in/out of plant and log in/out times if time clock is not in operation
- Light record keeping
- Must stay alert and report incidents as they happen
- Act as a point of contact for visitors, employees, and contractors, assisting with directions and information as required
- Uphold company policies and procedures at all times
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required
- Excellent observation skills
- Reliable transportation to get to and from work timely
- Clean background
- Must show up to work on time and give ample notice if you will be missing a work shift
- Must be lawfully permitted to work in the U.S.A.
- Must be willing to work major holidays and in all weather conditions
- Good communication with other guards and supervisors
Schedule:
- Full-Time, Hourly Position
- Rotating Schedule:
7 days straight night shift (6:00pm – 6:00am)
Saturday & Sunday (6:00am – 6:00pm) every other week
