We are seeking a proactive and strategic Sales Manager to lead and expand our freight sales operations across the U.S. If you have deep knowledge of the transportation market and a proven track record in B2B sales, we want to hear from you.
Key responsibilities
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving growth and profitability by:
· Developing and executing robust sales strategies to increase freight volume and carrier profitability.
· Identifying and securing new B2B business opportunities, with a focus on high-volume shippers and the nearshoring sector.
· Managing, maintaining and strengthening relationships with key accounts, negotiating long-term contracts and ensuring continuous satisfaction.
· Negotiating service terms and pricing to ensure margin compliance and organizational goals are met.
· Collaborating closely with operations, pricing and customer service teams to optimize asset utilization and guarantee top-tier service execution.
· Tracking and reporting key performance metrics (PRM, revenue per truck, etc.) to align sales effort with corporate objectives.
Qualifications and Requirements
We are looking for a professional who meets the following criteria:
· Minimum of 3 years of successful experience in sales within the transportation or logistics industry (asset-based-carrier experience preferred).
· Strong and essential understanding of the U.S. – Mexico cross-border freight operations.
· Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and profitability targets.
· Excellent negotiation, communication, and executive-level relationship-building skills.
· Results-oriented and capable of working autonomously in a dynamic environment.
