JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the IT Administrator is responsible for support and troubleshooting with infrastructure and low-voltage systems and equipment, including WiFi, television services, telephone services, server and web-based programs as well as deployment and lifecycle management of hardware assets. Coordinates with the third-party IT Managed Services Provider for escalations, projects, and performance monitoring and ensures service levels and response times meet organizational expectations. The IT Administrator respectfully interacts with all residents, family members, visitors, colleagues, and staff. Supports IT systems for a senior living community. This is a safety sensitive position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Monitors network systems, reliability, and disaster recovery with our third-party IT Managed Services Provider
- Sets up hardware and installs and configures software
- Maintains hardware and peripheral devices and recommends repairs and preventative maintenance as needed
- Maintains cybersecurity best practices including patching, endpoint protection, and user access controls
- Assists with incident response and security audits
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure environments
- Helps ensure compliance with HIPAA and data privacy regulations
- Troubleshoots system and equipment failures and provides solutions to restore functionality
- Provides timely, user-focused technical support and training
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job
- May require occasional after-hours support or on-call availability for critical systems

Qualifications:MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years of experience as a computer technician or similar role required.
- Proven experience in customer service
- Extensive experience with WiFi networks required.
- Strong knowledge of networks, computer systems, software and IT components required.
- Extensive knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required, ability to work with internal/external customers effectively.
- Exceptional organizing, time-management and troubleshooting skills required.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required.
- Relevant IT certifications is preferred.
