What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housing Tester position at Southwest Fair Housing Council (SWFHC)?
SWFHC is continually seeking individuals passionate about fair housing, civil rights, and social justice who want to actively make a difference in their community! Testers of all ages, ethnicities, races, backgrounds, sex, and gender identities are needed on a revolving basis. SWFHC utilizes testers to determine if housing discrimination is occurring throughout the state of Arizona. Testers are fully trained, receive $15.00/hr for their time, and will be reimbursed for their mileage. Due to the on-going COVID-19 pandemic, we are currently holding all services/trainings remotely including tester training and tester investigations. You must have a valid form of ID and no felony convictions. SWFHC will conduct a background check on all accepted applications.
If you are interested in being a tester, please see our flyer and contact the SWFHC office closest to you for further information or apply online today and you will be contacted shortly for upcoming training opportunities!
