## Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Research Assistant to join our growing research team. Our Research Center participates in several clinical trials of all phases for eye diseases. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in conducting these studies and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
## Duties
- Assist and support other research staff and physicians with conduct of a study
- Interact positively with patients, physicians and staff
- Conduct clinical trials following Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines
- Conduct patient assessments such as visual acuity exams
- Certify in complex ophthalmic photography
- Prepare and ship patient samples to laboratory
- Prepare and file study documents
- Complete data entry
## Skills
### Required Skills:
- Proficiency in computer use, especially Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Time management
### Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Prior science background
- Prior experience in clinical trials or clinical setting, especially optometry or ophthalmology
- Phlebotomy
