Location: Childress, TX | On-Site

Southwest Electrical Contracting Services LLC (SWECS) is looking for experienced, Licensed Journeyman Electricians to join our team on a major industrial data center project in Childress, Texas!

We're recruiting nationwide and welcome qualified out-of-state Licensed Journeyman Electricians who are eligible to obtain their Texas license through reciprocity.

Compensation & Schedule

• Hourly Pay: $41.00–$43.00
• Per Diem: $170.00
• Overtime: Available with extended work schedules
• Schedule: 13 consecutive days/nights on, followed by 1 day off
• Shifts: 12-hour shifts, day and night opportunities
• Job Type: Full-time
• Work Location: Childress, Texas (On-Site)

Out-of-State Journeyman Electricians – We Want You!

Texas has Journeyman Electrician reciprocity agreements with the following 10 states:

• Alabama
• Alaska
• Arkansas
• Idaho
• Iowa
• Nebraska
• New Mexico
• Oklahoma
• South Dakota
• Wyoming

If you hold an active Journeyman Electrician license in one of these states, you may qualify to obtain your Texas TDLR Journeyman Electrician license without retaking the Texas licensing examination.

Job Summary

SWECS is seeking experienced industrial Journeyman Electricians with at least 5 years of industrial electrical experience in data centers, refineries, manufacturing plants, power generation facilities, petrochemical plants, or similar industrial environments.

We're looking for electricians who know their trade, take pride in their workmanship, put safety first, and are ready to work!

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of industrial electrical experience required.
• Active Texas TDLR Journeyman Electrician license OR qualifying out-of-state Journeyman Electrician license eligible for Texas reciprocity.
• Strong understanding of NEC and industrial electrical installation practices.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety.
• Willingness to work extended hours and a rotating day/night schedule as assigned.
