What Youll Do
- Assist experienced electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in both industrial and commercial environments.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support project execution.
- Conduct tests using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools to ensure systems are functioning correctly.
- Participate in the installation of low voltage and high voltage wiring while following the National Electrical Code (NEC) guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members on various construction tasks, including frame carpentry, to enhance your overall skill set.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
- Previous experience or coursework related to electrical work is preferred.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical testing equipment.
- Experience in industrial or commercial electrician roles is a plus.
- Understanding of NEC standards and regulations.
- Construction site experience that showcases your ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong blueprint reading skills that enable you to follow complex instructions accurately.
