Role Description The Dispatch Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Richardson, TX. This position is responsible for receiving and prioritizing incoming calls and alarms, documenting events accurately, and dispatching appropriate security personnel or emergency services according to established protocols. Daily activities include monitoring systems and communication channels, updating logs and incident reports, and maintaining clear, professional communication with clients, field teams, and internal staff. The Dispatch Operator follows standard operating procedures, escalates issues when necessary, and supports continuous coverage by coordinating with other operators and supervisors. The role requires a strong focus on attention to detail, confidentiality, and adherence to safety and security standards.
Qualifications
- Ability to manage high call volumes, prioritize multiple tasks, and remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including clear telephone etiquette and accurate incident documentation.
