Role Description
The Account Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Tucson. A successful candidate will be self-motivated, creative, and passionate about events, with strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This salaried role offers one weekly work-from-home day, opportunities to earn commissions and an annual bonus, and includes full medical benefits.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Creating professional proposals and contracts
- Conducting vendor and venue research
- Assisting clients when sales staff is unavailable
- Providing support at events when needed
- Supporting internal teams with various tasks as required
- Creating and designing themes for corporate events
- Researching new vendors and ideas for event inspiration
Qualifications & Skills:
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Canva
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; must be a self-starter
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Analytical skills for navigating challenges and improving processes
- Experience in account management and maintaining detailed client records
- Exceptional customer service orientation
- Familiarity with event planning or destination management is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field preferred
