Position Overview (Talent Pool Posting)
Southwest Charlotte STEM Academy (SCSA) is seeking passionate, student-centered educators to join our K–2 team. This posting is designed to build a strong pool of candidates for current and upcoming openings across Kindergarten through 2nd grade.
We are looking for teachers who are committed to early literacy, strong classroom culture, and creating engaging learning experiences that build a solid academic foundation for all students.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction in ELA and Math
- Build strong classroom systems and routines that support student success
- Use data (i-Ready, assessments, etc.) to drive instruction and intervention
- Foster a positive, structured, and engaging classroom environment
- Collaborate with grade-level teams and instructional leaders
What We’re Looking For
- Valid teaching license (or eligibility)
- Strong understanding of early literacy and numeracy development
- Ability to build relationships while maintaining high expectations
- Alignment with a structured, systems-driven school environment
