Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Shoemaker position based in Glendale, CA. The Shoemaker will be responsible for crafting and assembling high-quality footwear using traditional leatherworking techniques and modern equipment. Daily tasks include cutting and preparing leather, sewing components together, assembling footwear, and applying finishing touches. The role also involves maintaining quality standards, collaborating with other artisans, and reproducing original designs using expert craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Leatherwork and expertise in handling leather materials for crafting and assembly
• Experience with Sewing and related techniques essential for constructing high-quality footwear
• Ability to Reproduce intricate designs and maintain consistency in craftsmanship
• Familiarity with industry-specific Training practices and the willingness to learn and refine skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing durable, reliable products
• Physical ability to work on-site in a craftsman workshop environment
• Previous experience in shoe or leather goods manufacturing is a plus
