Key Responsibilities
- Department Leadership: Manage a team of service advisors and technicians, providing mentorship, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Operational Excellence: Utilize platforms like Autosoft and Rapid Reconn to manage repair orders, track department KPIs, and optimize shop flow.
- Customer Relations: Serve as the primary point of escalation for customer concerns, ensuring every guest leaves satisfied with their vehicle’s care.
- Profitability & Growth: Monitor department expenses and labor rates to meet or exceed monthly financial goals.
- Vendor Management: Interface with key partners and parts suppliers to ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure the shop operates in accordance with all local, state, and federal safety regulations.
- Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years in automotive service management or a senior service advisor role.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong familiarity with Dealer Management Systems (DMS)
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to recruit, train, and motivate a diverse technical team.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with both staff and customers.
- Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the Roanoke/Fort Wayne market is preferred.
