Key Objectives- Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
- Support patients and healthcare providers with accurate information related to hospital services, appointments, and policies.
- Maintain clear, confidential, and compliant communication in accordance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently and contribute to continuous improvement of patient services.
- Respond to incoming calls, emails, and chat messages from patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, providing pre-visit instructions, and answering questions about hospital services.
- Document all interactions accurately in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Identify and escalate urgent or complex issues to appropriate departments promptly.
- Adhere to HIPAA and other healthcare privacy regulations in all communications.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with hospital policies, services, and technology tools.
- Contribute feedback to improve patient communication processes and service delivery.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in customer service, preferably within healthcare or related fields.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional and empathetic approach.
- Proficient with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and virtual communication platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment with reliable internet access.
- Knowledge of healthcare terminology and HIPAA compliance is a plus.
