What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathologist position at Southwest Allen County Schools?
Purpose
Provide speech language therapy for students in the RTI process and students with IEPs. Work with a team of special education educators. Complete evaluations under the Disability categories of Speech Impairment and Language Impairment as identified in Article 7. Develop goals/objectives, provide speech therapy and evaluate progress of students.
Qualifications
Certified Speech Language Therapist in the state of Indiana with certification in Speech and Language Therapy. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
