The shipping packing lead oversees the packing department to ensure proper and accurate shipping with timely delivery of products within budget.
What You'll Do
- Accurately review, process, print and verify order completion
- Responsible for all daily outbound shipments with accuracy
- Daily contact with shipping staff and freight carriers
- Quality control for all outbound customers’ orders before shipment
- Record and manage all impaired or damaged merchandise items
- Follow SOPs and safety guidelines
- Support documentation as needed
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Safety vigilant
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Prior warehouse experience a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluent in English
- Excellent attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to learn and describe products accurately and thoroughly
- Customer Service experience preferred
- NetSuite experience a bonus
