The Operations Analyst provides critical data analysis and reporting to support operational excellence across manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics. The Operations Analyst works cross-functionally with sales, customer service, warehouse, inventory, and logistics teams to align day-to-day execution with organizational goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Utilize NetSuite ERP and NSAW to extract, analyze, and interpret operational data related to order fulfillment, supply chain, and inventory performance.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs to measure production efficiency, material flow, fulfillment performance, and cost metrics.
- Support Business Planning through data preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Conduct root cause analyses on issues impacting production, delivery, or inventory accuracy.
- Partner with Finance to validate data alignment between operational and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvement opportunities that enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Standardize reporting processes and maintain data governance protocols to ensure consistency and accuracy across all departments.
- Support the creation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to data management, reporting, and analysis.
- Present findings and actionable insights to management in clear, concise reports and visualizations.
- Participate in Lean Six Sigma initiatives to support continuous improvement throughout operations, including leading and executing Kaizens.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in operations, manufacturing, or supply chain analysis.
- Experience with NetSuite ERP and NetSuite Analytics Warehouse (NSAW) preferred.
- Proficiency in Power BI, Excel (pivot tables, macros, data modeling), and data visualization
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Smartsheet)
- Familiarity with warehouse automation, transportation planning, or e-commerce fulfillment is a plus.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of WMS, TMS, and ERP systems.
- Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume distribution environment.
