Warehouse Forklift Operator Day Shift – Fremont, NE
Pay: From $17.00/hr with guaranteed raises at 3, 6, and 12 months, then annually.
Job description:
Southwark Metal Manufacturing is hiring a Warehouse Forklift Operator to support shipping operations in our modern 140,000 sq. ft. facility. This role is responsible for loading finished products for delivery and ensuring orders are accurate and ready for shipment.
Responsibilities
- Pull sheet metal profiles and finished products according to order requirements
- Verify product accuracy and quality before staging for shipment
- Label, organize, and stage materials for the shipping team
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely
- Maintain accurate tracking and basic documentation of pulled orders
- Keep work areas organized and follow all safety procedures
- Work with the shipping team to ensure timely order fulfillment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual preferred
- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Forklift experience preferred but not required
- Team player with good communication skills
- Must be 18 years or older
